Although the company did not have an official presence at the New York Auto Show, Manhattan Motorcars generously displayed a Spectre for public admiration. In numerous respects, this car exemplifies the benefits of electric propulsion, providing substantial power (up to 650 hp in the Black Badge trim) and immense torque, all without the noise and vibration of a conventional engine. Despite a weight of about 6,500 pounds—ranking it among the heaviest passenger vehicles available—it still achieves a reasonable range of up to 277 miles, depending on configuration. Of course, it’s improbable that Spectre owners would undertake lengthy journeys in this vehicle.
